A Brazilian Jiu Jitsu camp for members of the LGBTQIA+ community
About the Camp
We would like to invite members of the LGBTQ+ community to join us at a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu camp Friday, April 4th - Sunday, April 6th 2025. The event will be hosted at KruFit in the Indianapolis metro area.

The camp will include multiple BJJ seminar sessions (both gi and no gi) and multiple open mats. New this year: we are working on the possibility of a small super fight card for after camp ends on Sunday (open to camp participants only). Further instructor announcements are forthcoming, but we are excited to share with you that we will have third degree black belt Molly Reis joining us as an instructor.

While we value allyship, this event is intended for community members (see: respecting queer spaces). We know there will be allies that wish to support the camp. If you would like to sponsor registration for a queer grappler or otherwise support our camp, please reach out to us.
Cost & Registration
The cost for the entire weekend is $120 per person. We will have a maximum capacity of 50 people for the camp. We did sell out last year. Below is a form to fill out if you wish to register for camp. Please note that payment is due at the time of filling out this form. Registration can be paid via Venmo @Andrea-Schoenegge.

We also have a "pay what you can" option. If you cannot afford the full registration fee OR on the flip side perhaps want to send additional money to help support camp or sponsor another grappler, this option is for you. The registration process is exactly the same. Please fill out the below form and send payment to the venmo listed above.​

Schedule
Forthcoming! For planning purposes, please note that we usually begin Friday evening with an open mat and end midday Sunday. With the fight card being new, we are working on how it will fit into the current schedule, but the most likely spot will be after lunch on Sunday.

- Monetary Donations: We are intentionally keeping camp registration low cost to ensure it is affordable and accessible. Our registration fees do not fully cover our costs to operate camp. Donations make it possible for camp to happen and for us to ensure everyone is able to attend, regardless of their ability to pay.

- In Kind Raffle Donations: Item donations for our raffle table (these items do not need to be jiu jitsu related!)

- Swag Bag Items: Examples of past items include - samples, stickers, discount code cards, full size items (e.g., FitAid drinks), etc.

All sponsors receive recognition on our website, social media, on the Lez Roll Radio podcast, and on check-in materials at camp. We are incredibly grateful for the support received.
Join the Facebook Group!
We have a closed facebook group that is open to all members of the LGBTQ+ community who are interested in camp and/or just want to connect with other queer grapplers. You do not need to be registered for camp to join the group. We would love to have you in there!

For camp attendees: all official communication regarding camp will be sent to the email you registered with. That being said, the group will be the best place for connecting with other attendees. This is usually where you can find info about hanging out with the group outside of camp too!
