A Brazilian Jiu Jitsu camp for members of the LGBTQIA+ community
About the Camp
We would like to invite members of the LGBTQ+ community to join us at a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu camp Friday, April 19th - Sunday, April 21st. The event will be hosted at KruFit in the Indianapolis metro area.

The camp will include multiple BJJ seminar sessions (both gi and no gi) and multiple open mats. We will again have an Intro to Muay Thai session. New this year: we are adding a Judo session! Instructors this year include Joshua Murdock (Pedigo Submission Fighting), Jon Aimone (Academic Grappling, Jennifer Risser (Roll Model Grappling), and Natasha Wolf (Carmel Judo).

While we value allyship, this event is intended for community members (see: respecting queer spaces). We know there will be allies that wish to support the camp. If you would like to sponsor registration for a queer grappler or otherwise support our camp, please reach out to us.
Cost & Registration
The cost for the entire weekend is $120 per person. We will have a maximum capacity of 50 people for the camp (we are getting close to that number!). Below is a form to fill out if you wish to register for camp. Please note that payment is due at the time of filling out this form. Registration can be paid via Venmo @Andrea-Schoenegge.

New this year we also have a "pay what you can" option. If you cannot afford the full registration fee OR on the flip side perhaps want to send additional money to help support camp, this option is for you. The registration process is exactly the same. Please fill out the below form and send payment to the venmo listed above.

Registration Fee Waivers
We are able to offer a number of waivers of the registration fee thanks to donations from generous sponsors. Our intent is to make camp low cost and affordable. If the registration fee is prohibitive and you would like to be considered for a sponsored spot, please do not fill out the form above and instead fill out this form.
Schedule
A full schedule for camp be accessed by clicking on the image below. Friday evening will include an open mat. Saturday seminar sessions are no gi and will go all day. Sunday seminar sessions will be in the gi and finish by midday with the last open mat wrapping up in the afternoon.

Join the Facebook Group!
We have a closed facebook group that is open to all members of the LGBTQ+ community who are interested in camp and/or just want to connect with other queer grapplers. You do not need to be registered for camp to join the group. We would love to have you in there!

For camp attendees: all official communication regarding camp will be sent to the email you registered with. That being said, the group will be the best place for connecting with other attendees. This is usually where you can find info about hanging out with the group outside of camp too!
